CCSE Plus

Check Point’s CCSE (Check Point Certified Security Expert) Plus is an “advanced certification built on CCSA and CCSE certifications that validates in depth technical expertise with Check Point's VPN-1/FireWall-1.â€‌

The Check Point CCSE emerged in 2002 and presently covers NG (Next Generation) technology. In terms of certification retirement, “Check Point certifications are valid for a minimum of 18 months. Certifications are considered current if they are for the current major product release or the product release immediately prior to the current release. As of July 10th 2003, current certifications include Check Point 2000 and Check Point Next Generation.â€‌

Job roles of those pursuing this certification typically include: IS (Information Security) professionals, network security professionals or systems security professionals.

To achieve the CCSE Plus, a candidate must pass three exams.
