SYNOPSIS • CCIP
Cisco’s exam 642-641, “Quality of Service� (QoS) is a core requirement for the Cisco Certified Internetwork Professional (CCIP) certification. It is a mid level exam for IT professionals who have the “knowledge and skills necessary to configure and troubleshoot Cisco IOS routers running Quality of Service protocols in a Service Provider environment.� The candidate must hold a valid CCNA certification as a prerequisite to this exam.
This exam costs $125 USD. It may be taken from Pearson Vue or Thomson Prometric.
Cisco does not publish the pass score for this exam which can include these types of questions: “multiple-choice single answer, multiple-choice multiple answer, drag-and-drop, fill-in-the-blank, and simulations.�
