Cisco’s Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) exam 640-801 is the single-exam option and the most popular route to earning the Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) certification. It is an entry level exam for IT professionals who have the “knowledge and skills necessary to select, connect, configure, and troubleshoot the various Cisco networking devices.� There is no specific prerequisite for this exam.
This exam, which is available in English and Japanese, costs $125 USD. It may be taken from Pearson Vue or Thomson Prometric.
Cisco does not publish the pass score for this multiple choice, drag and drop exam, which includes a few simulations. There are between 55 and 65 questions and the exam lasts 90 minutes.
