SYNOPSIS • CCNP
Cisco’s exam 642-821, “Building Cisco Remote Access Networks� (BCRAN) is a core requirement for the three-exam and four-exam paths to the Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP) certification. It is a mid level exam for IT professionals who have the “knowledge and skills necessary to describe, configure, operate, and troubleshoot WAN and remote access solutions.� The candidate must hold a valid CCNA certification as a prerequisite to this exam.
This exam costs $125 USD. It may be taken from Pearson Vue or Thomson Prometric.
Cisco does not publish the pass score for this exam which can include these types of questions: “multiple-choice single answer, multiple-choice multiple answer, drag-and-drop, fill-in-the-blank, and simulations.�
