Citrix’s exam 218, “Citrix MetaFrame 1.8 for Windows Administrationâ€‌ is one of three exams that qualify for the Citrix CCA (Citrix Certified Administrator) certification. A newer flavor of this exam is available, exam 222, “Citrix MetaFrame XP FR2 for Windows Administration.â€‌

Exam 218 is designed for candidates who are knowledgeable on MetaFrame 1.8. There is no specific prerequisite for this exam.

This exam, which is offered in English, French, German, Japanese, Portuguese and Spanish, is easy to moderately difficult and costs $100 USD. It may be taken from Thomson Prometric.

The pass score for this form-based multiple choice exam is 68%. There are 40 questions and the exam lasts 60 minutes. Note that “If this test is taken in a language that is not native to the country in which the exam is given, extra time is provided. The extra time is equivalent to 50% of the standard test time.â€‌
