The IBM Certified Associate Developer is a mid level certification geared toward individuals interested in the creation of critical applications for Lotus platforms in large-scale industries. This certification is the first of the programs offered by IBM and requires of one general exam that is only available in English.

The IBM Exam 710 for the Certified Associate Developer is one hour long and consists of 45 questions, 5 of which are not scored. In order to pass this exam, you must attain a score of 75% mastery of the subject. The exam covers Lotus Notes application development skills for applications, web, and infrastructure basis, as well as the use and implementation of Lotus Notes Domino 7 servers and users.
