Microsoft’s exam 70-292, “Managing and Maintaining a Microsoft Windows Server 2003 Environment for an MCSA Certified on Windows 2000?is the only exam required for an MCSA (Microsoft Certified Systems Administrator) Certified on Windows 2000 to update to an MCSA on Windows 2003. It is one of two exams required for an MCSE (Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer) on Windows 2000 to update to an MCSE on Windows 2003. It is designed for IT professionals who “work in the typically complex computing environment of medium to large companies.?The prerequisite for this exam is to be certified as an MCSA or an MCSE on Windows 2000. Moreover, candidates should have “experience administering client and network operating systems?in the type of environment described here.
This exam costs $125 USD and may be taken from Pearson Vue or Thomson Prometric.
