The 1Z0-042 Oracle Database 10g: Administration I exam provides conceptual understanding of the Oracle database architecture and how its components work and interact with one another. The DBA I OCA allows you to create operational databases and properly manage the various structures in an effective and efficient manner including performance monitoring, database security, user management, and backup/recovery techniques.

The cost of this exam is $125 USD. You can take the exam at any Oracle Testing Center or Prometric. The passing score for this exam is 65%. There are 75 questions and the exam lasts 120 minutes.
