Sun’s exam CX-310-012, “Sun Certified System
Administrator for the Solaris 8 Operating Environment – Part II†is a core
requirement for the Sun Certified System Administrator (SCSA) Solaris 8 OE certification.
It is designed for Unix system administrators with a minimum of twelve months
experience. Exam CX-310-011, “Sun Certified System Administrator for the
Solaris 8 Operating Environment – Part I†is a prerequisite for this exam.
This exam is moderately
difficult and costs $150 USD. It may be taken from Thomson Prometric.
The pass score for this
multiple choice, free response and drag and drop exam is 70%. There are 61 questions
and the exam lasts 105 minutes.
