SYNOPSIS • TICSA
TruSecure’s exam TU0-001, “TruSecure ICSA Certified
Security Associate†is the one requirement for the TruSecure ICSA Certified
Security Associate (TICSA) certification.
This exam is designed for candidates who have “essential
knowledge and abilities to be active stakeholders in today's enterprise
security, helping an organization achieve a more secure operational posture.†The prerequisites for this exam are that
candidates “have at least two years experience in
network security administration, or can demonstrate attendance of at least 48
hours of approved computer security training or coursework (within a 24-month
period)â€; attest to a Code of Ethics statement; and complete an online
practitioner’s profile and account.
This exam is moderately difficult and costs $295 USD
for Americans and $395 for those outside of the USA. It may be taken from Thomson Prometric.
The pass score for this form-based multiple choice
exam is 67%, but this is subject to change. There are around 70 questions and
the exam lasts 90 minutes.
