SYNOPSIS • Linux+
CompTIA’s Linux+ exam XK0-002 exam is the only exam
required to achieve the Linux+ certification. It is intended
for individuals with six to twelve months of practical experience installing, operating and
maintaining Linux operating systems. This exam has no prerequisites but CompTIA
recommends you possess the A+ and Network+ certifications.
This exam, which is offered
in English, German and Japanese, is easy to moderately difficult. It may be
taken from Pearson Vue or Thomson Prometric. In terms of
cost: “Prices of CompTIA exams vary,
depending upon the country you are taking the test in and your membership
status. In the US, prices range from $93 USD to $225 USD.
The passing score is 675 on
a scale of 100 to 900. This exam is in conventional format, consisting of 98
identification and situational multiple choice questions, and has a duration of
90 minutes.
