Microsoft’s MOS exam “Access 2002 Core� yields the MOS (Microsoft Office Specialist) Core on Office XP track certification and is also a core requirement for the MOS Master on Office XP track certification. It is designed for candidates who implement the advanced features of Microsoft Office applications, as well as integrate those applications with other software applications, as a part of their job function. Often, these candidates are called “power users.� There is no prerequisite for this exam.

This exam is easy to moderately difficult and the cost for it varies but is generally around $60 USD. It may be taken from your nearest iQCenter.

MOS exams are performance based and rely on “live� or real Microsoft Office applications. Typically, MOS exams have a time limit of 45 to 60 minutes.
