(642-661) 642-661 BGP Cisco’s exam 642-661, “Configuring BGP on Cisco Routers� (BGP) is a core requirement for the Cisco Certified Internetwork Professional (CCIP) certification. It is a mid level exam for IT professionals with an “understanding of the theory of BGP, the ability to configure BGP on Cisco IOS routers, and the skills with troubleshooting on BGP.� The candidate must hold a valid CCNA certification as a prerequisite to this exam. This exam costs $125 USD. It may be taken from Pearson Vue or Thomson Prometric.
