Sniffer’s exam 1T6-101, “Troubleshooting with the Sniffer Portable Network Analyzer” is the one requirement for the Sniffer Certified Professional (SCP) certification, one of three requirements for the Sniffer Certified Expert (SCE) certification, and one of six requirements for the Sniffer Certified Master (SCM) certification.

It is designed for candidates who “have a minimum of one year of networking experience and familiarity with Sniffer Portable 4.7.” There is no specific prerequisite for this exam.

This exam is easy to moderately difficult and costs $100 USD in the US and Canada, while for other countries “different pricing and additional taxes apply.” It may be taken from Thomson Prometric.

This exam has 50 multiple choice questions and lasts 60 minutes.
