Novell’s exam 050-683 (course 3006), “Desktop Management with ZENworks for Desktops 4” is an elective for the Certified Novell Engineer (CNE) 5 and 6 certifications. This exam is designed for those mid to advanced-level network administrators who manage policies, applications, workstations and inventory. There is no specific prerequisite for this exam and in fact the related course is tailored to those “who have little or no experience with the ZENworks product family.”

This exam is priced at $125, $55.50, or $27.50 depending on the region in which it's taken.  Most North American and European and some Asia Pacific countries fall under the highest price tier. The exam may be taken from Pearson Vue or Thomson Prometric.

The passing score is 560. This exam is a form test (traditional), consisting of 70 questions, and has a duration of 90 minutes.
