prevent clients from changing thier ips

i tried the dhcp reservation i did added every client mac address and his own ip
and nothing worked!
they still keeb changing ips
alwayes my server pop up message saying anther pc have the same ip
what can i do ?
why the reservation wont work ?

DHCP reservation doesn't prevent users of changing there ips
but ONLY when the client is set to take an automatic ip, dhcp will handle that
and then you can control the ip by ISA

Let me give you an examble:
192.168.0.2 is reserved for Client1 00000000
ISA rule is set to give access to External from 192.168.0.2
Client1 can change the ip to e.g. 192.168.0.3
ISA will prevent (192.168.0.3) from accessing External "because 192.168.0.3 is not defined in the rule"

That's what I know and the experts can give you better information

i got it now , thanks alot.
3moman mr.mohamed_rady and crazysmurt i cant create ruke for every client it will be too long i have more than 70 clients, law 3amlt rule le kol wa7ed mesh ha5las :D
so i think the only way to prevent clients from changing thier ips is the access policy on the active directory

I'm happy that you can solve your problem
anyway you should not define a rule for each ip
you should use a range e.g. 192.168.0.1 to 192.168.0.70
