نظرة على support tools في ويندوز 2003 سيرفر
مرحباً ،،
في ويندوز 2003 نجد ما يسمى support tools ، وهي أدوات وأوامر تساعد مدير الشبكة على ادارة المهام الخاصة بالشبكة وهي تشمل: مشاكل الشبكة و أنظمة التشغيل و إعدادات الشبكة و الصلاحيات والحماية وإدارة نظام الأكتف دايركتوري، هذه الأدوات تساعدنا كثيراً بالكشف عن النقاط التي ذكرناها وهي مهمة جداً وفي درسنا هذا سنتطرق الى الأوامر ووصف مبسط عنها،،
للوصول إلى هذه المجموعة بالعادة تكون موجودة داخل الـ CD الخاص بالويندوز 2003 سيرفر ،، داخل مجلد support نجد مجلد آخر اسمه tools وسنجد ملف اسمه suptools.msi يجب علينا تشغيل هذا الملف ليبدأ عملية تحميل الملفات على النظام ،،
وبعد تحميل النظام ستجدها داخل مجلد Program Files ثم Support Tools
ويمكنك ايجادها أيضاً بالذهاب الى Start ثم Programs ثم Windows 2003 Support Tools
عند تشغيل ملف suptools.msi ستبدأ عملية التنصيب داخل النظام وستظهر هذه الشاشة ،، وهي شاشة ترحيبية ، نضغط Next للمتابعة ،،

- بعد ذلك ستظهر شاشة الإتفاقية واضغط على I Agree للمتابعة ،،
- اختر مكان تحميل الملفات وليكن كالتالي c:\program files\support tools وهو الدارج طبعاً في حالة كان نظام التشغيل على C

- اضغط الآن على Install Now للبدء في التحميل ،، يحتاج النظام الى بضع دقائق حتى ينتهي وبعد ذلك يمكنك الضغط على Finish للإنتهاء ،،

As soon as you type "poolmon" from the command prompt, the following kind of data will be shown. This includes the total amount of memory in the system and the memory available, amongst others.

Format: Command Line
Description: Allows you to troubleshoot TCP and UDP ports. This helps the administrator to determine the state of any given port. If you type "portqryt -n computer_name -e port_number" the name will be resolved to the ip address and the port number will be queried. Details such as the service assigned to that port, the port type (TCP, UDP), the state of the port and also any held data will be displayed.

Description: Allows you to change a process priority or kill a process. This can be described as more advanced version of the "process viewer" available in the task manager. Description: Creates a file containing a list of the service pack versions of important system files. This tool requires you to have the spcheck.ini file in the directory in which you are going to execute the command. If you do not have this file available, then you may download it from the Microsoft website. Type "spcheck" and a report will be created and dumped into the current directory. You will then have to go to the file and open it will a text editor (notepad.exe will do fine). The report contains a list of important system files and which service pack they have installed or if they are missing.
